Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Collins (born in Mexico) is an Mexican American broadcaster. She currently works as an ESPN sportscaster. ESPN, working as anchor for SportsCenter news and hosting SportsNation. The first time she worked for ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual since the time she turned nine. It is this skill that allowed her to get her first job as an Univision producer assistant Miami. There, she was a producer for National shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. She was hired as a reporter for The CBS St. Petersburg affiliate following that. Her move to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 as a reporter for the Spanish stations KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. Reports on her show covered immigration issues, drug trafficking, and various other topics on the Texas as well as the Mexico border. She was also an anchor and Spanish reporter at the newscast of 5 p.m. and anchor and reporter on the newscast of nine p.m. in English and an anchor and reporter for the newscast of 9 p.m. in English, as well Spanish reporter for 10 p.m. She was also frequently called upon to be an anchor for sports and weather. They eventually moved in Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born on November 1985. She has an older sister. In 1992 the family left Mexico for the US and eventually settled in Miami. Then, shortly afterward the family split up, and in 1995 Fabio Fajardo was remarried. He passed away from kidney cancer in 2006. On a trip Antonietta was staying at her sister's house in Canton Ohio. Her older Collins brother had recently been offered an offer to work. Antonietta was a senior high school student and had a clear idea of what she wanted to do in her future career. She visited Mount Union University in order to see if it was a good fit for her. It turned out that she liked the campus and that the school provided the degree she was looking for. After completing the requirements for high school, she attended the university to study media studies. Mark Bergmann, her professor who also managed WRMU's 91.1FM station, where she was employed over the years, became her friend. He encouraged her to be self-confident and also his love for journalism deeply influenced her. She, was determined to fulfill his expectations and never let him down.
